So every June 1st is Children’s Day around here. It is a day that children are celebrated and parents or other family can get discounts on kid friendly food and attractions. I personally think EVERY day is Children’s Day around here. But, it is also a day that children will perform a dance or routine hosted by their school. Our kids’ local preschool was no exception. Giving children a holiday really only leads to a bunch of parents, ridden with guilt, dragging their kid around town and throwing money at them. The alternative view is that the kids get loved on and the Moms get a day off. The ladies dress to the nines and don’t the girls look cute!??
