Thank you for reading our blog. In 2008 we first moved to China with just Ephrem and Jada in tow. Since then, we’ve explored some parts of Yunnan, had two more children and have decided to settle as permanently as is possible in Shangri-la, Yunnan.
In 2014 we acquired a Tibetan house in Hongpo Village about 15km east of Shangri-la town. After completely renovating it, we moved in on September 30, 2016. We’ve started this blog to serve as a record for our children and a way to communicate to you, our family and friends, some of the experiences we will have here.
